Tapestry Coffee's History

Tapestry Coffee was founded in 2021 by Brady Heerema, Kiley Van Daalen, and Scott Van Daalen. We wanted to create a place where our guests always felt appreciated and cared for. You're a welcome friend when you walk into our coffee shop, not just a sale. 

Our goal was to create an environment that could be a fixture of Lakeville, whether that meant just a spot to grab a good latte, meet up with friends, or have a mini family get-together.

Our Growing Partners

Coffee growers need to do more than break even with each harvest. Only earning back what they grow means they can't reinvest back into their farms, communities, and families. We partner with importers who are committed to creating long-lasting relational partnerships.

This isn't limited to only paying above fair trade pricing. This includes working together as a coffee roaster, importer, exporter, and producer. The goal is to determine what each farm needs to be a successful business. 

Our Roasting Process

Our roasting process really starts with our growing partnerships and approach to sourcing. By starting with the best green coffee we can, our job as roasters is a lot easier! We focus on roasting coffee to highlight their natural flavors based on their origin, elevation, variant, and processing method.

All our coffees are then roasted to order so our customers get the freshest coffee possible. Each batch is carefully monitored and tasted at the final stage to ensure that the coffee we send to you is of the highest quality.

Tapestry Coffee is more than a coffee roaster. We're business owners. That means we understand the hurdles and stressors of owning a coffee company. We want to be the support system we wanted when launching our company. 

We've created a wholesale partnership program to help our partners be successful. Our team is with you every step of the way. Swing by Our Lakeville Coffee Shop

Our Lakeville cafe is a great place to sit down, relax, and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. We offer a wide range of coffee drinks, light snacks, pastries, and breakfast items. Our friendly staff is there to help you find the best drink to suit your mood. 

Our coffee shop is open each day from 7 AM to 2 PM. Visit our location and place your order in person. You can also skip the lines by placing your order online.
